2.14. Check of liquid in the air conditioning system


Check is made at a temperature of the engine and liquid from +18 °C to +24 °C.

1. To remove a front grille.
2. To start the engine and to ensure its functioning on single turns.
3. To turn on the conditioner and to install the fan switch (it is specified by an arrow) in a position 3.
4. Through viewing glass to watch a condition of liquid which in 10 seconds of operation of the conditioner has to proceed without bubbles. Existence of bubbles testifies to a lack of liquid and low overall performance of the conditioner. In case at once after turning on of the conditioner vials of air do not appear absolutely, it indicates too small amount of liquid in system. It is necessary to switch off immediately the conditioner, for an exception of failure of the compressor and to address on service station for filling of system.

The air conditioner owing to the working provided leaks can lose up to 100 g of coolant within a year therefore it is necessary to refuel system periodically.
