3.5. Diesel engines

GENERAL INFORMATION

The engine with intermediate injection of fuel in the combustion chamber, four-cycle, four-cylinder, line, water cooling, has the camshaft in the block of cylinders, is installed is longitudinal ahead of the car. The block of cylinders is cast from cast iron. A bent shaft five-basic, with fixing from axial movement by persistent half rings which are established on the central radical bearing. Statically and dynamically balanced flywheel fastens to a bent shaft six bolts.

Pistons are manufactured of aluminum alloy, with dredging on the bottom. The double-T section rods forged and thermoprocessed. In the lower head of a rod inserts are established, and in top the bronze plug is pressed.

The camshaft rotates in three support. In the central part has a kosozuby gear wheel of the drive of the oil pump.

The head of the block of cylinders is made of aluminum alloy, with the pressed directing plugs and saddles of valves. Each valve is closed by two springs which transmit effort to the valve through the plate fixed on a valve core by crackers. The control of valves is made from the camshaft through bars, pushers and levers.

The turbocompressor of Carret AiRtsearch T03 is established since 1988 and is put in action by energy of exhaust gases. On one shaft with the turbine there is a compressor. Forcing in cylinders air under pressure, it increases coefficient of filling of cylinders therefore the power and torque of the engine increases. An engine power supply system with a turbo-supercharging same, as well as at the ordinary engine, except for the device of reduction of smoking which consists of the valve regulating pressure of pressurization and the regulator of supply of fuel to the fuel pump of high pressure.
