4.5. Fan

4.5.1. Removal and installation of the fan with the hydraulic coupling

GENERAL INFORMATION

OHC engine radiator fan

1 – hydraulic coupling of the fan,

2 – fan blades,

3 – generator,

4 – belt,

5 – fan pulley,

6 – pulley of a bent shaft

Key for unscrewing of the coupling of the fan

Sizes: H=25mm, Y=12mm.

Hydraulic coupling of the fan

 
1, 2, 3 – a forward part of the case,
4 – bimetallic spring,
5 – the case with cooling edges,
6 – valve,
7 – inlet opening,
8 – consolidation,
9 – rotor,
10 – power shaft

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To disconnect a weight wire from the accumulator.
2. To remove the top part of a casing of the fan, having unscrewed two bolts and having disconnected four clips.
3. To unscrew the fan coupling from a nave of the pump of cooling liquid. The curved rozhkovy key of s=32 (OHC) or s=36mm (V6) is necessary for unscrewing.

Prevention

The nut of fastening of the coupling of the fan has the left carving.


4. When unscrewing a nut of the coupling of the fan to clamp maple a belt and thus to prevent a nave from a provorachivaniye.
5. To unscrew 4 bolts and to remove a krylchatka from the coupling.
6. Installation is made in the sequence of the return to removal.
